5 days - $620.00 June 6-10, 2012 Aim: "To provide the theory and skills for proficient kayaking at sea in moderate" conditions, including an overnight." This course runs in the beautiful Killarney area off Phillip Edward Island. A comprehensive course that covers all aspects of paddling and rescue including rolling and towing. Attention to camping skills, navigation, safety and weather will round out the course. The course runs as an "outtrip" and participants will provide their own food and cooking equipment. Participants who don't have equipment can be accommodated. A written test and navigation exercise are part of the evaluation for this certification. Prerequisite: Paddle Canada Level 1 and 30 days in level 1 conditions
