All trips taken with Horizon Adventures are categorized by a challenge level listed below.

 Horizons Trips
Our trips are limited to select small groups of 6-8 travelers with at least 2 guides. Why? First, I insist on personal attention. The food is delicious, our equipment of the highest quality, our guides are a delight and the experience second to none. Second, the waters we travel are BIG, and so is our commitment to safety. Smaller groups mean less risk on open water with more independence for you, and small groups make a much smaller impact on a fragile land resource. 'Slow' because we like to explore not rush. For us the destination is the journey. We want to share these magnificent waters with you and we know them as well as, or better than, anyone in the business.

Day Trips - Almost all day trips are level 1 rated.

	Skills Level 1 Novices welcome, no experience necessary.- Complete day of paddle strokes, wet exit and rescue instruction included in program. Distances average less than 12 kms per day.
	Skills Level 2 Beginners welcome, - wet exit and rescue instruction included in program. More demanding, greater likely hood of exposure to challenging wind and waves. Distances average 12-20 kms per day.
	Skills Level 3 Previously successful experience with trip activity. Able to handle, launch, land and rescue yourself and others in waves up to 1 meter. Must have completed and be prepared to demonstrate, wet exit training. Distances average 15 kms per day or more. High likelihood of exposure to challenging wind and waves.
