Red Cross Urban First Aid Courses
This 2 day RED CROSS First Aid Course that is set up particularly for first year Laurentian University Students but it open to all. It meets all Ministry of Labour standards for course content and duration. The course will be held on the Laurentian University campus, starting at 8:30 am Saturday morning. Course includes: CPR -C, AED, Shock, Bleeding, Breaks and Sprains, Head and Spin injuries, Burns, Environmental Emergencies, Allergies and Reactions.

All our programs, whether they be nationally registered or just for fun, are taught by certified experienced instructors that love to share their passion for paddling with you. They come from all walks of life, medical, industrial, parents, teachers, students, men and women. They understand what it means to try something new or be "out of your element" and the anxiety of that goes along with that.
We wil coach you and always encourage you but we always let you have the last say when it comes down to pushing your own limits. Learn more about our instructors.
National Certification programs are recognized across Canada and beyond. They involve testing to a standard criteria both in skill and knowlendge. They include:
Paddle Canada sea kayak programs
Sirius Wilderness Medicine First Aid courses.
No Stress Skill Development programs refer to instruction that has no skill or knowledge based tests. They are fun., educational and skill developing but they do not include any award or certification. Your reward is self development and confidence at the end of the program.
