Paddle Canada Level 2 - Touring award
This award is designed to bring together paddling and rescue skills along with touring, navigation and camping to give you the essential edge and confidence for multi-day touring and intermediate boat handling. Be prepared for full days and evening sessions. Participants will be responsible for planning, packing, cooking their own meals on trip and are encouraged to partner up to share in these tasks. Skills topics include Navigation and Seamanship, Boat Handling and rescue in rough conditions, camp set up and expedition behavior, risk management, weather prediction analysis and data gathering.

- 30 days paddling experience
- able to handle a sea kayak in moderate conditions and rescue yourself and others if upset in waves up to 3 feet
